Patrick Buss is a Tax Advisor with American Financial Services. He assists in tax analysis and tax return preparation for clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Patrick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Marquette University. He began his career with a corporate relocation company primarily in real estate valuation and appraisal review from 2010 until 2013. He accepted a position as a mutual fund administrator with US Bancorp Fund Services in 2013 and served in that capacity until 2022. During this time, he serviced open end and closed end mutual funds as well as exchange traded funds. These services included financial statement reporting, prospectus updates, various SEC filings, dividend calculation, compliance and generally supporting the reporting needs of the fund advisor. Upon his departure from the company, Patrick was serving in a managerial and team lead capacity on the firm’s largest client relationship. Patrick’s professional and personal background have instilled a strong work ethic, attention to detail, an openness to learn and willingness to go above and beyond for the firm and its clients.
Patrick spent his early years in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin before his family moved to central Wisconsin in 1996. He married his wife Clare, in 2016 and they currently reside in Glendale, Wisconsin with their daughter Alice and dog Wilson. They look forward to welcoming another child to the family in September 2022. He enjoys various hobbies including basketball, golfing, fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
